Litera Adds AI Client Intelligence to Microsoft 365

Litera launched Foundation 365, an AI-powered CRM platform for law firms built into Microsoft 365, on June 3, 2026.

Litera, a legal technology provider serving over 15,000 global customers, launched Foundation 365. The platform brings AI-powered client relationship management directly into Microsoft 365 tools including Outlook, Teams, and Copilot. It is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and designed to help law firms identify and act on business development opportunities without switching applications.

Law firms have long struggled to get attorneys to use CRM tools consistently because those tools sit outside their daily workflow. Foundation 365 addresses this by embedding relationship data inside the applications lawyers already use every day.

What Foundation 365 Does

Foundation 365 gives law firms a real-time view of client relationships across Microsoft 365. It helps firms answer three specific questions: which relationships are strong, which need attention, and who is best positioned to make contact.

The platform surfaces this data inside Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Copilot. Attorneys can access client intelligence while preparing for a meeting or during a live call, without leaving their current tools.

Microsoft Partnership

Foundation 365 is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integrates with Microsoft 365 Copilot. Litera holds the 2025-2026 Microsoft AI Business Solutions Inner Circle Award, a recognition earned by less than 1% of Microsoft's global partner network.
